Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 15, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ACAD website and your participation in ACAD courses and programmes. By accessing our website or enrolling in a course, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Eligibility

ACAD's programmes are designed primarily for dental professionals, including dentists, specialists, hygienists, dental nurses, and dental students, but are open to anyone interested in the subject matter unless a specific programme states otherwise. Participants are responsible for deciding whether a programme suits their background and for providing accurate information at registration.

Enrolment and Payment

Pricing, accreditation, CPD points, and any specific requirements vary by programme and are stated in full on that programme's individual course page at the time of registration. Course fees are displayed in AED, inclusive of UAE VAT where applicable. Enrolment is confirmed only once payment is received. ACAD reserves the right to adjust pricing and offers at its discretion; confirmed enrolments are not affected by later price changes.

Changes to Programmes

ACAD reserves the right to change a speaker, date, platform, or content where reasonably necessary. Where a change is material (a change to the core topic, lead faculty, or a postponement of more than 30 days), ACAD will notify enrolled participants and offer the refund/transfer options set out in the Refund Policy.

Acceptable Use

By using the site or attending a programme, you agree not to: share your login or Zoom access link with anyone who hasn't enrolled and paid; record, screen-capture, or redistribute any live or recorded content without written consent; misrepresent CPD points or accreditation earned through a programme to any third party or regulator. Violation may result in removal from a programme without refund.

Course Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the course materials as described in the course details. Recordings and supplementary materials will be made available as stated per course. Access is granted to the individual who enrolled and may not be shared with others.

Certificates and Accreditation

Certificates of completion are issued to participants who attend the full course or session. CPD accreditation is provided through The CPD Standards Office (UK). ACAD is not responsible for how individual regulatory bodies recognise CPD certificates.

Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, recordings and resources provided by ACAD are the intellectual property of ACAD and may not be reproduced, distributed or shared without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

ACAD provides education and training for professional development purposes. The content of our courses does not constitute clinical advice. ACAD is not liable for outcomes resulting from the clinical application of knowledge gained through our programmes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah. Any dispute shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and failing resolution, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sharjah, UAE.

Changes to These Terms

ACAD reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
